the vampire diaries Star Paul Wesley is currently stealing the spotlight in everything personal. For those who don’t know, he married his long-time partner and model, Natalie Kuckenburg, on July 13, 2026. However, it is worth mentioning that this is not his first marriage, as Paul had been married twice before: first, to Torrey DeVitto, and second, to Ines de Ramon. Torrey once admitted that she had a very difficult time after divorcing Paul.

Torrey DeVitto was married to Paul Wesley from 2011 to 2013. She was seen in the vampire diaries as ‘Dr. Meridith Fell’, a love interest of ‘Alaric Saltzman’ (Matthew Davis) during several episodes of seasons 3 and 4 of the television series. After splitting from Paul, Torrey confessed that she went through a “really dark time.” And since her ex-husband also played an important role in the same show, she attracted a lot of attention. Talking about Rachel Bilson Broad ideas podcast, she said:
“It was public. It was the first time he did something like that. Because he was on a really big show that was very popular, he got attention.”
Torrey even stated that after their split, she had no desire to reprise her role on the show. She revealed that she couldn’t even think that it was her job and that she should go there despite her divorce. She recalled:
“I was in it, but I only liked six episodes. And then once we broke up, I was like, ‘Pfft, I’m not going back there. I’m not that kind of person who says, ‘Well, this is a business, I can stay.’ It’s like, no. I don’t want to go back. I’m fine, thanks.”
According to Torrey, her split from Paul Wesley drew attention in a way she wasn’t prepared for. This is because even two years after her divorce, people were still comparing who she was dating her ex-husband to. Torrey found the scrutiny “mortifying” and claimed that fans “glamorized” Paul’s role as ‘Stefan Salvatore’ in the vampire diaries, but they didn’t really “know” him. She was quoted as saying:
“That attracted a little bit of attention in a way that I don’t think I was prepared for. And then it was also difficult because for a couple of years, whoever I dated afterward, people just [say]’It’s so disgusting.’ It will never be Wesley. ‘How could you do this?'”
Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto crossed paths for the first time on the set of the Killer film in 2007. After developing a bond, the duo married four years later in a private ceremony. At the time of their separation, it was revealed that they had “decided to separate amicably” and would “remain good friends.”

A while back, Paul Wesley’s wife, Natalie Kuckenburg, gave fans a glimpse into their intimate wedding ceremony. On her Instagram account, she posted a carousel of photos with Paul and her dog, Greg. For her big day she chose to wear a Galia Lahav Lilou dress. Meanwhile, Paul looked dapper in a dark navy suit and pants.
Looking at the snaps, it seems that Paul and Natalie had opted for an outdoor wedding under the palm trees. The model captioned the post: “Mr and Mrs and the best boy, Greg.”
