The story follows Do Ji-ui, a plastic surgeon who leaves his job at a university hospital to complete his mandatory military service as a public health doctor. Hoping to avoid the sea due to past trauma, he is assigned to the remote island village of Pyeongdong-do, a place most doctors avoid. There he meets Nurse Yook Ha-ri, a former nurse at a university hospital who has secrets of her own. As Ji-ui treats the island’s residents, their stories slowly change his outlook on life and his compassion. It was released on June 1 on Disney+.

As the title suggests, Teach You a Lesson follows a system in which troubled students are disciplined by any means necessary. With campus violence out of control, the South Korean government creates the Educational Rights Protection Agency (ERPA), which allows the use of physical force and psychological pressure to restore order in schools. The story focuses on ERPA supervisor Na Hwa-jin, who is sent to different educational institutions to break violent student hierarchies and expose corruption within the administration. Alongside investigator Im Han-rim, Hwa-jin uses his state-backed authority to take on school gangs and restore discipline to the system.

This action school drama will premiere on Netflix on June 5.

Agent Kim Reactivated will launch on SBS TV on June 26. The streaming platform has not yet been announced.
