First of all, this happened a couple weekends ago, but guys, Toby turned 16! Sixteen full years since the tummy time and wolf hats, and it’s been a wild and wonderful ride. xoxxoxo
Now he dominates both freddy me too!
Meanwhile, the Knicks are in the NBA Finals and the whole city is going crazy. I love all the blue and orange bagels, signs, balloons, outfits, and donuts. Even though our family is a Warriors fan, the energy is contagious.
Another important competition is taking place in Brooklyn haha: a chess showdown between Anton and me. We’ve both gotten really into the game (thanks for your advice), and although Anton is more experienced and has been beating me, the games are at least getting a little closer!!!
He also finished his school athletics season. Have you ever run track? If so, how far away? As a lifelong non-runner, I am always very impressed.
My friend tremble – a beauty and culture writer – has a side business, where she and her wife make ridiculously delicious cookies in Brooklyn. She brought some over the other day and oh my gosh, guys, if you’re a cookie fan, RUN DON’T WALK.
Last but not least, we went to my friend leah my son’s bar mitzvah, and here are some of the fun photos! It was a gala pizza party with dancing, blackjack and roulette. I wish all parties could be planned by 13 year olds 🙂
