After subtly confirming their marriage, Zendaya and Tom Holland stepped out for first back-to-back red carpet events almost five years later Spider-Man: No Way Home released. And at the Rome premiere of the MCU film, Tom was heard calling Zendaya “Maree,” as seen in videos circulating on social media.
Both actors were speaking to separate interviewers on the carpet, and at one point Tom was heard saying, “Maree! What’s the name of that place?” Zendaya turned to her husband before responding, “From Giolitti!” which is an Italian pastry and ice cream shop. Z said they would go to the place “after this” for some well-deserved sweets.
Although the exchange was adorable, fans who weren’t familiar with Zendaya’s full name wondered where “Maree” came from.
