The Sun and Moon will meet at 25 degrees 57 minutes Taurus on Saturday, May 16 at 4:00 pm ET.
At their New Moon conjunction, these two Lights are also closely conjunct Ceres and Mercury, and all of them hover over Algol, the fixed star of decapitation. It is a tense, tense, volatile energy; Add to this the fact that the Taurus Moon this month is out of bounds and that she (with her many Taurus siblings) responds to an out of bounds Venus in Gemini. We can expect great advances regarding our cherished desires and creative goals. We can also expect to be asked to let go of what no longer serves us. “And the day came,” wrote Anais Nin, “when the risk I took to remain firm within the cocoon was more painful than the risk I took to flourish. Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states through which we have to pass.” This is one of those moments when we FEEL the transformation more intensely. Let it flow!
When the New Moon chart projects for Washington, DC (see image below!) we find a 6 degree Libra Ascendant. . . giving even MORE importance to the Goddess of Love beyond limits. Beware, here she comes in all her glory: how consistently have YOU been serving her?
All personal planets are intensely active in this chart, with Mars at 28 degrees Aries forming a collaborative sextile with its Beloved at 27 degrees Gemini, and both forming semisextiles with Mercury at 28 Taurus. Did you hear? The word is spreading; The whispers are getting louder and more insistent.
