Hyderabad, May 7th2026: Popeyes®, the iconic Louisiana-born fried chicken brand, launched its first television campaign in South India, with actress Rashmika Mandanna as the brand ambassador for India.

The campaign is based on a simple idea: replace boring fried chicken options with bold flavor experiences inspired by Popeyes®’ Louisiana Cajun heritage. Anchored by the message, ‘Bored Hatao. Bold ko Laao.’, the campaign encourages consumers to choose bold Popeyes® fried chicken flavors that really stand out. The campaign was launched in South India, which is the largest market for the brand. Jubilant Foodworks currently operates 48 Popeyes® restaurants in South India, making the region a key growth market for the brand.

The campaign features Rashmika Mandanna, one of India’s most beloved youth icons, whose energy and relatability reflect the youthful and bold personality of Popeyes®. Their partnership brings cultural relevance to the campaign as the brand connects with a new generation of consumers.
