As one of the largest independent chemical handling and distribution companies in the Southeastern U.S., Colonial Chemical Solutions will gain an expanded geographic presence with this acquisition. The move adds complementary assets, capabilities and expertise to CCS, enhancing its ability to serve customers in more markets and applications.
IPG brings together well-established operating companies recognized for their high-quality systems, disciplined processing and extensive experience across the chemical supply chain. Chemisphere and Chemsolv have a long history in the industry and are known for their operational excellence, strategically located facilities and proven ability to support the efficient handling and distribution of chemicals.
Colonial Chemical Solutions acquired Integrity Partners Group, including Chemisphere and Chemsolv, to expand its presence throughout the Southeastern U.S. The deal strengthens distribution capabilities, adds assets and expertise, and improves supply chain reach. The integrated platform will improve customer service while supporting long-term growth and market expansion.
“We are excited to integrate IPG’s people, assets and capabilities into Colonial Chemicals’ existing platform,” he said. Rob Roberts, President of Colonial Chemical Solutions. “We view this as a natural extension of our chemical distribution business. Our initial focus is a careful integration of IPG into CCS, guided by the proven practices that have driven success in both organizations. Once integrated, our priority is to continue strengthening our partnerships with customers and suppliers, supporting long-term growth and continuing to build a world-class chemical distribution and handling network.”
The combined organization will operate as an integrated chemical distribution and handling company, bringing together the assets and expertise of Colonial Chemicals, Chemisphere and Chemsolv. This integration strengthens customer service capabilities, expands supply chain reach, and improves operational processes to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
“The IPG team has been deliberately driving improvements, adding capabilities, expanding our reach to customers’ desired end markets while building a platform to support the growth initiatives of our loyal customers and suppliers,” he said. Darren Birkelbach, CEO of Integrity Partners Group. “As a strategic component of Colonial Chemicals, I am confident that this acquisition represents an incredible opportunity to accelerate the momentum we have created and further strengthen its position in the chemical distribution market.”
