Throughout May, I have been working with students on advanced development material.
In class, students have so far learned about derived houses and profections, the synchronization of natal aspects with profections, how the Abu Ma’Shar profection process works, and the Valens surrender and takeover technique.
Below is a quick snapshot of some of these techniques in action using Harper Lee’s chart.
Lee had moved to New York to pursue writing, hoping to become a published author. In class we look back at the year he turned 30, which is a 7th year of profection of the house.
A Lucky Gift and Timely Support: 7th House Perfection
The year he turned 30, Lee finally got an agent for his writing, and at Christmas his dear friends gave him an annual salary so he could take time off from his job and focus on writing.

This time it was an intensive period of rewriting and reworking the manuscript, since, in Lee’s own words, she was a new writer with a messy first draft, so she followed all the advice of her editor and agent to make improvements. The book was almost completely rewritten in this period.
Mercury passes Venus Exalted in Pisces
