Loganair will launch a new direct service between Jersey and Bordeaux this summer. The route will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, starting June 19 and ending October 5.
The service joins existing seasonal connections from Channel Island to Norwich, East Midlands and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Matt Thomas, chief executive of Jersey Ports, said the route marks an important step forward for European connectivity.
“The introduction of direct flights to Bordeaux marks an important step forward for Jersey’s European connectivity. In addition to our popular service to Paris, this twice-weekly route offers islanders greater flexibility to travel to the south of France, while opening Jersey to a wider catchment area of over a million people living in the Bordeaux and Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

The airline offers a 21kg baggage allowance as standard for passengers on the new route. Fares start at £79.99 from Jersey and €89.99 from Bordeaux.
