In Samsungthe latest Unpacked event, held in conjunction with the launch of its new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 seriesThe company presented the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds4your next generation premium wireless headphones.
The main upgrade is the audio hardware. He Galaxy Buds4 Pro has a redesigned two way speaker system combining a wider woofer and a flat tweeter. Samsung says the woofer’s effective vibration area has increased almost 20%allowing for deeper bass without expanding the space occupied by the headphones. The company also claims up to 50% less distortion compared to the previous generation.
Buds4 Pro supports 24-bit/96kHz playback through Samsung continuous codec (SSC UHQ) on compatible Galaxy devices, enabling high-resolution Bluetooth audio
Both models include Active noise cancellation (ANC) and adaptive equalizerwhile Buds4 Pro adds Enhanced adaptive ANCwhich adjusts in real time according to the conditions of use and the shape of the ear. Additional features include Voice detection and Siren detectionautomatically adjusting ambient sound when conversations begin or important sounds are detected
For calls, Super clear call (super wide band) uses AI-based voice enhancement and noise reduction to improve clarity in noisy environments.
In terms of design, the Buds4 series features a refined blade style shank with an engraved control area. Users can slide for volume, tap to playand customize hold shortcuts for features like live translation or voice recording.
Samsung says the fit was optimized using millions of ear data points and more than 10,000 simulations. Buds4 Pro adopt a channel-adapted designwhile Sprouts4 use a open architecture
Battery life reaches up to 6 hours (ANC on) for Buds4 Pro with a total of 26 hours including casewhile Buds4 offers up to 5 hours (ANC on) and 24 hours in total
They both support bluetooth 6.1, automatic transmission, Auracastand multiple codecs, including SSC.
