Dear friends,
Welcome to eclipse season, the year of the Fire Horse and the beginning of a new Saturn-Neptune cycle that will last 35 years.
The New Moon in Aquarius marks the beginning of these events on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. ET The chart, which you can scroll down to see! – is a remarkably tight and highly focused “package” pattern, with almost all the planets grouped between the degrees of 4 Aquarius and 24 Aries, and tucked into the Twelfth, First, and Second Houses of the chart when projected for Washington, DC.
Many of the planets are in duos or triplets: pairs or trios placed in the same degree of the same sign, all forming the same aspects in rapid succession. These include the Sun and Moon, perfectly conjunct at 28 degrees, 49 minutes Aquarius; as well as Vesta and Mars, both at 19 Aquarius; Venus and the North Node are both at 8 Pisces, with Pallas Athena beside her at 7 Pisces; Saturn and Neptune, both at 0 Aries (preparing to get married on February 20); and Ceres, Chiron and Eris holding hands in 20, 23 and 24 Aries respectively.
Because the planets in Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries are placed so close together, the only major configuration in the sky of this New Moon eclipse is a T-square formed by outliers Juno in Capricorn and Jupiter in Cancer along with Chiron and Ceres in Aries. This T-square shoots disruptive energy into the Libra midsection of your birth chart. Meanwhile, the other outlier, Uranus in Taurus, is still conjunct the fixed star of decapitation. The fact is, it’s a game for anyone.
Prepare for more shocks, surprises, trailers and mystery revelations. and disrupting norms and expectations—everything we’ve been seeing in the world since Neptune, God of Dreams, broke through the fog and entered Aries on January 26, now amplified! The sky will only become more passionate and insistent now that we are officially in eclipse season and entering the time of the Fire Horse in lunar astrology.
The last Year of the Horse in the element of Fire took place in 1966, a time of protest movements and civic unrest here in the United States. Fire Horse people are charismatic, unpredictable, bold and playful. In the coming year, we will collectively break new ground and (thank God!) break them FAST. It’s a great year for self-reinvention.
To add to all this: On Friday, February 20, three days after the New Moon eclipse, Saturn and Neptune marry at World Point 0 of Aries: 0 degrees, 45 minutes, to be precise. The God of Structure and the God of Dreams meet only once every 35 years, and this time they meet in the FIRST degree of the entire Zodiac. In addition to seeding a new 35-year cycle around the psychological work of individuation and awakening, Saturn and Uranus will activate all of our draconic charts, which illustrate our personal mission and purpose in life.
If you would like to learn more about the energies of the New Moon in Aquarius, the winter eclipse season, your draconic chart, and/or the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, I invite you to join me on Monday evening, February 16, 2026 at 7:30 pm ET for a very special edition of my monthly New Moon webinar.
I wish a very happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate it!
A big hug, Ana.
