France is mourning the death of the legendary Brigitte Bardot at age 91. With a haunting rhythm, she leaves the stage as Neptune leaves Pisces, as many female icons have done before in the change of sign. France, with a last degree of Sun in Virgo, is also dissolving under tr Neptune and Scheat in opposition to its Sun.
Bardot brought raw sexuality to the screen and her life with multiple highly publicized love affairs. Paris Match described her as “immoral, from head to toe” after the premiere of Roger Vadim’s And God Created Woman. But at 39 she retired from acting and public life to open an animal sanctuary in St Tropez, saying: “I gave my beauty and my youth to men. I am going to give my wisdom and experience to animals.”
Although secluded, she managed to cause a stir with her outspoken anti-Muslim views on the Islamization of France, for which she had been fined several times; and question the motives behind #MeToo accusations. Even earlier he caused outrage by announcing that the marriage was a sham. “It is better to be unfaithful than to be faithful without wanting it.” She openly declared that she was not cut out to be a mother. In her autobiography, she admitted to viewing her pregnancy with her only son, Nicolas (by her second husband, actor Jacques Charrier), as a “tumor,” and even attempted to induce an abortion by repeatedly punching herself in the stomach. She later regretted her words and the two reconciled.
Born on September 28, 1934 at 1:15 p.m. in Paris, France, she had a strict, even abusive upbringing, and in her early adult life was set free on a rollercoaster of passionate relationships (see previous post Brigitte Bardot. December 5, 2025).
she was a 9th Libra Sun house with a Gemini Moon in its 6thth work house, health and small animals. Animal-loving Venus in Virgo was the ruler of his 6th also.
Two aspects are notable: one is a frank Mars in Leo in the stubborn 9th opposition to Saturn, hinting at the anger of his repressive childhood that finds an outlet by making comments that clash with conventional morality.
The other is his nonconformist and rebellious Uranus on the cusp of his romantic and entertaining 5.th opposition Jupiter Mercury in Libra and square 8th house Pluto. Uranus in hard aspect to Pluto reflects the chart of France, born of a revolution with Uranus in opposition to Pluto. A focal point, Pluto, can provide insightful ideas that are ahead of their time and arouse hostility, but ultimately prove correct. His views were considered offensive and outrageous at the time, but some have shown themselves to have some common sense about it. He once remarked, “I am greatly misunderstood by politically correct idiots.”
Neptune was present when he passed his Solar Arc Moon within one degree of conjunction with his natal Neptune and his Solar Arc Neptune conjunct his Ascendant, having recently opposed his Moon.

His son Nicholas Charrier, June 11, 1960, 2h10 Paris, was largely purchased by his paternal grandparents after his father gained custody. Bardot in her autobiography said that she was not adult enough to care for a child, among other revelations; and was sued by her son and father for invasion of privacy, for which she received a heavy fine. After which he agreed not to talk about him.
He has a charming and communicative 3.third house Sun Venus in Gemini in a leg of a yod sextile Uranus conjunct Saturn Moon in Capricorn. I would deeply feel separation from an unloving mother with a Saturn Moon in Capricorn; and her hard-won Saturn square Mars on her Ascendant reflects the opposition of Bardot’s Mars to Saturn. But he was saved from his Uranus Pluto roller coaster and weighed 8th home.
