Your horoscope for November 2025: Wrong turns can lead you to something better

Your horoscope for November 2025 is here. And there’s a song ringing in our ears: If I could turn back time… November astrology is taking us down a memory lane surrounded by funeral mirrors, and it will be up to us to take advantage of any “second chance” wisely. Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius and Scorpio is the star of the show, which will officially last from November 9 to 29. Meanwhile, significant changes are occurring among some of the slower-moving planets (such as Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) that synchronize with Mercury’s back-and-forth dance.

In layman’s terms, this probably has more going on than your run-of-the-mill Mercury retrograde. This one feels more like a back to the future movie, a chance to “correct” the timeline you’re on or, fundamentally, rewrite a script you’ve been running for years. If this is truly the end of an era, what small changes can you make that will really tie up big threads that you haven’t been able to resolve until now? Think of it as breaking out of your personal version of Groundhog Day because you figured out how to break the cycle.

Now, Mercury retrograde is also famous for the transit of “things going wrong” and “people not hearing each other correctly the first time.” For frequent travelers, it also tends to be a time of travel disruptions and reservation mix-ups. With Mercury beginning its retrograde conjunct Mars in Sagittarius, the chance of FMD is high during the first week of November, as is passing the exit you were supposed to take. Try to move slower and more intentionally than you tend to during this part of the month. Also, and this is important, try to stay mentally flexible as you take on additional perspectives. People will want to try hard and be right, but the deeper medicine is that you don’t know yet what you don’t know yet.

On November 18, Mercury returns to Scorpio. For the rest of the month, we may be talking less and reflecting more. There are big discoveries that happen during the second half of the month, the kind that can lead to quantum leaps in your perception and, yes, potentially your lived reality as well. Secrets can be discovered and mysteries revealed. If you travel, you probably want to learn the lesser-known stories of the places you visit, as well as explore parts of the city that may be conceptually or literally underground (think: catacombs, bomb shelters, speakeasies). What you learn on your journey could also give you the key to unlocking the mental puzzle of your life.

Astrologer’s Note: Below we refer to your signs as “rising” signs, also known as the rising sign. Horoscopes are most accurate when read this way: Using your time and location of birth, you can quickly find your rising sign online (takes less than 30 seconds).
