X appears to be up and running again after struggling with an outage that took the service offline and made it slow to load for much of the morning. According to the X development platform pagethere is a incident in progress related to transmission endpoints which has caused an increase in errors. The incident began at 7:39 a.m. PT, according to the page.

This roughly coincides with an increase in reports in fall detector. The problems seemed to be somewhat intermittent. At some points, X’s website partially loaded and only showed older posts. At other times, the app and website would not load at all.

As of 11:15 a.m. PT, the X developer site was still indicating ongoing issues, so there may still be some lingering issues even though the website appears to be working normally again. Reports about Down Detector have also decreased considerably.

X did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the outage. As TechCrunch gradesthis is the second time this week that X has experienced major problems. The service also went down on Tuesday for many users around the world.

But while the latest issues were widespread, some posts still managed to get published. Rival Bluesky, who earlier this week changed her X profile picture to her bikini butterfly logo, took the opportunity to throw some shade.

At 1 pm PT, X updated its status page to indicate that the issue had has been resolved after almost six hours. He did not elaborate on the underlying cause.
