Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. is the son of former NFL cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick Sr. He was coached by the legendary Nick Saban while playing for the University of Alabama from 2009 to 2011. The elder Kirkpatrick had a notable 10-year career in the NFL after being selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the 17th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
