Moving away from the apocalyptic panic of the moment incited by sensationalist media and the nervousness of the general population, it is worth remembering that the cauldron of history is and always has been constantly bubbling. What seems unbearable now was worse before and life moved you.
Astrology offers broad indicators viz. Recently, the United Kingdom shook and shook through Uranus in Taurus impacting its wide Fixed Grand Cross and managed to outperform five Prime Ministers in that time.
What the United States faces ahead is largely Neptunian through 2032 with a few extras (below). Tr Neptune will square American financial Venus starting later this month, which will continue to further chip away at cash trust and self-assurance when it squares Jupiter in 2027 and early 2028; with a final square undermining the US Cancer Sun from mid-2030s to early 2032.
Adding to the drift and indecision will be the Solar Arc of the US Sun square Neptune, exactly at the end of 2027, ending a destructive and tense phase since mid-2024 (SA Saturn conjunct Mars and square Neptune).
2027 may be a key year as it will see the beginning of Pluto’s two-year opposition to the US ‘leadership’ of the Leo North Node, bringing a reckoning with the past. The US North Node was severely affected by Neptune’s opposition on 9/11. It was not aimed at an attack but coincided with a feeling of national humiliation.
Of course, there is the return of Uranus between July 2027 and mid-2028, around the beginning of the American Civil War and after Pearl Harbor. But history never repeats itself exactly, nor does astrology. You can’t swim in the same river twice. There are always different influences from other planets. It will be meaningful but in a different way.
The 2028 election appears deadlocked and somewhat hopeless with a yod of Pluto sextile Neptune conjunct Mars and a bitterly argumentative Mercury square Pluto. The inauguration of 2029 will not be as dictatorial as that of 2025, but it will be volatile with a 10th house Pluto trine Uranus trine Mars, with Mars opposition Moon Neptune. There were some changes, some risks, and a confused and disillusioned electorate. There is also Saturn in square Pluto for difficulties, deprivation, a hard struggle that can be financial.
The 2032 elections have Uranus Saturn in Cancer square Mars: excitable, with tensions surfacing. Although it is an opportunity to drive positive changes: Uranus conjunct Saturn = merging the best of the old with the best of the new.
The Inauguration of 2033 is much more optimistic with a super confident Jupiter Pluto Sun in the 10thth. It is true that there will be some bully behavior and frustration from Mars in the 7th.th house of allies/enemies square Pluto. Tr Uranus Saturn will move during this period through the US Venus, Jupiter and Saturn, so again pushing for change.
For what it’s worth, bellicose Saturn square Pluto may not mean war. See previous posts (below) and if there are any, I suspect they will be from the Middle East rather than the West.
