Uranus in Gemini, 2025-2033- Revolution of Ideas, MASS Communication — The Astromomma

On July 7th we will have the massive and revolutionary movement of Uranus that will move into the sign of Gemini! This is another MASSIVE transit of 2025. Uranus is the planet of sudden events, surprises, technology, enlightenment and evolution. Gemini, the third sign of the zodiac, is known for communication, curiosity, play, intelligence, and skill. Uranus will be in Gemini from July 7, 2025 to November 8, 2025 and then back again to Taurus before returning to Gemini again since April 262026- August 2033.

Uranus in Gemini is here to usher in a new vibe of radical invention within communication and technology as a whole. Uranus feels much more powerful in Gemini than in Taurus, since Gemini is all about dexterity and speed and Uranus likes the ability and “space” to be completely inventive and unhinged. This time of Uranus in Gemini will be a time of unique communication styles and erratic happenings within the aviation, automotive, and potentially education industries. Curiously we now have all the outer planets in air and fire signs. Saturn, Neptune are in Aries, Pluto is in Aquarius and now Uranus joins the group of air/fire signs entering Gemini. With the outer planets in the air and the fire signs, progress will be quick and swift. There is so much progress and movement that it could get a little mind-boggling and chaotic. We will have to do our best to stay grounded and in “reality”, even though that can be challenging and difficult at times.

The last time Uranus was in Gemini was between 1941 and 1949 and during this time we saw World War II along with many radical inventions: the atomic bomb, the first computer prototype called the Atanasoff Berry Computer (ABC) was invented, and the microwave oven, just to name a few.

Uranus’s previous time in Gemini was from 1858 to 1866 and during this time we saw the Civil War in the United States along with many interesting inventions: John Mason’s “glass jar,” which was the first screw-top glass jar, the successful completion of the Transatlantic Telegraph Cable, and the first rotating washing machine, just to name a few.

The previous transit of Uranus in Gemini from 1174-1782 and during this time we saw the Revolutionary War in the United States along with many incredible inventions: Samuel Crompton invented the spinning mule, the Electric Telegraph, bifocal glasses and the air compressor, just to name a few.

Interestingly, the United States also has its natal Uranus in Gemini (in the 7th house of relationships and contracts) and will experience its third Uranus return. During this time of Uranus in Gemini for the United States, there is sure to be separation within key contracts and connections along with unusual alliances formed. Certainly, war has always occurred during this transit, but it might not be a literal war as we know it, but rather a type of cyber conflict or even a division/separation between the federal government. Other scenarios could include a “war” with communication systems like AI domains, new airwaves created around communication, and even flying cars (yes, I said it lol). We will see what is to come, but there will surely be rapid advances and out-of-this-world events related to our communication and technological advancements.
