The Swedish H&M presents its opulent collection of party clothes for the 2025 Christmas holidays

For the 2025 holiday season, H&M delves into opulence and glamor with a touch of haute couture. Partywear, outerwear, knitwear and tailoring delight in fluid, silky fabrics, metallic details, faux fur and eye-catching knits. The silhouettes are dramatic, draped and play effortlessly with volume. From high-octane celebrations to luxurious lounging, the atmosphere is always cheerful yet sophisticated. The Holiday 2025 collection, for women, men and children, will be available starting November 6 in select stores and online at hm.com.

Standout pieces include an embellished black velvet kimono jacket with matching pants, a sleeveless black satin top with an open back and velvet bow at the neck and sheer pants with velvet side panels, a range of decadent draped dresses and tops, and an elegant double-breasted black tuxedo with a cascading black bandeau top.

H&M’s Holiday 2025 collection celebrates opulence with a couture twist, featuring velvet, satin, faux fur and leather in dramatic silhouettes, statement fabrics and elegant tailoring. With rich hues and bold textures, the range for women, men and children embodies elevated festive glamour. It launches in select stores and online starting November 6, 2025.

“There is a real party atmosphere this holiday season, but in a more luxurious and sensual way. Everything feels elevated: luxe fabrics like velvet, satin, faux fur and leather, elaborate draping, slim suiting and hyper-textured knits. The look is powerful and exquisite at the same time. Every piece in the collection is worthy of a moment,” she says Eliana Masgalos Duarte, director of women’s fashion design at H&M.

The color palette is rich and sober with black, white, gray, brown, burgundy and moss greens. Textures are key, from luxury velvet, lurex and sequins in new techniques to faux fur, shearling, leather and brushed knits, woven with loops and tassels.

As for accessories, faux fur reigns supreme, from bags and shoes to hats, while jewelry is big and bold.

For Christmas 2025 menswear, there’s a similar confidence and opulence, albeit with a more relaxed silhouette. Sartorial ease comes in the form of shaggy textures, subtle shine and velvety-feel denim. Key pieces include a statement parka, a washed shearling jacket, cozy traditional knits and boxy striped suits with draped shirts. The combination of timeless craftsmanship and modern versatility makes the collection elegant and stylish.
