Taylor Swift has a good reason to ‘hide’ from fans

Reading time: 4 minutes

Taylor Swift hides from her own fans, but for a very good reason.

Earlier this football season, security smuggled Swift into Kelce’s game.

It wasn’t to surprise her fiancé, a new report explains, but for her own protection.

Swift is increasingly concerned about security. There’s a target on his back, and it even affects how much or little he can watch Kelce’s games.

You’re not imagining it: Taylor Swift has been hiding (sort of)

According to a report by The daily mail, Taylor Swift has real safety concerns that are altering their behavior.

This extends to many aspects of her life, including, and perhaps especially, when she attends her fiancé Travis Kelce’s games.

According to the report, Swift “wanted to feel a lot more protected this year with her security.”

The insider noted that this is true “especially with her current stalker issues.”

For someone as high-profile as Swift, avoiding a determined stalker can be nearly impossible.

The source goes on to explain that Swift “doesn’t want her whereabouts known every minute of the day.”

She is reportedly taking this sensible precaution because she “wants to be safe.”

The source continued, “And she wants her family and friends to be safe.”

Not to be ashamed of the sport, but the source noted that Kelce wasn’t “having the best season the first few weeks” of this year’s football season.

As such, the source said, Swift made “a little more natural progression” toward being “less visible and attracting attention.” Mostly.

Obviously, there are limits to how much you can avoid the spotlight.

To be clear, Taylor Swift is not trying to remain invisible. Nor is he under the mistaken impression that it is possible.

For example, he has not taken the extraordinary step of having “asked the NFL and the various networks to stop showing it on television during any of the Chiefs games.”

In fact, fans recently saw her on camera.

As we recently reported, Travis Kelce did the “Ofelia’s Fate” dance after scoring his milestone 100th career touchdown on Monday, October 27.

At that moment, Swift appeared in the stands, cheering on her fiancé and celebrating alongside her controversial friend Brittany Mahomes.

According to the inside source, Swift’s (perhaps intentional) game plan for the rest of the season will be developed “on a case-by-case basis.”

He will apparently address it, in part, “depending on how” Kelce performs on the field.

(Imagine your extremely famous fiancée no longer takes the security risk to attend your games because she’s underperforming!)

It seems that Swift is extremely aware of her level of exposure, and not just for security reasons. We all remember how that made her vulnerable to a smear campaign in 2016.

“There is always a camera pointed in his direction, but this year it is not as important as in previous years,” the source reasoned. “We’ll still see her from time to time because she knows everyone knows she’s there anyway.”

It’s about more than just optics

Many people find comfort in habits.

But, as anyone who has ever seen a crime documentary probably knows, people with standard routines and schedules can also be more vulnerable if someone wishes them harm.

Taylor Swift knows it. Your security knows it.

Unfortunately, Travis Kelce’s games are no secret. Therefore, keeping people guessing whether she will attend or not is a good safety precaution.

There are some deeply malicious people in the world. Some of them have targeted Swift before. We hope Swift, her friends, and her fans are safe.
