The program, which has seven episodes, follows the smuggling routes that pass through Al-Dera, Addis Ababa, Milan and Bangkok. The program offers insight into how traffickers operate within the system using coded routes and false documentation. Careful disorientation leads them to their mission without raising suspicion.
In the first episode, ‘Custom vs Popat’, it is shown how people transport luxury items like bags, watches, gold and even drugs through various methods, which no one can imagine. The essence of how carriers often deceive the Customs department is clearly evident.
At the center of the international smuggling network is a specialized customs task force stationed at the busiest airport, the Mumbai International Airport. The force is led by none other than Emraan Hashmi, who goes to great lengths to stop smuggling.

Emraan Hashmi eclipses, but Sharad Kelkar is the surprise element
The show features Emran Hashmi in the lead as ‘Arjun Meena’, a clean and honest customs officer posted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. Emraan’s crisp dialogues and screen presence add charm to the series. The actor is fearless and confronts the syndicate operating at the Mumbai airport.
Although Emraan Hashmi is the hero of the series, Sharad Kelkar was a surprise element in the show. Sharad plays the antagonist, ‘Baba Choudhary’, the main man behind international smuggling. As his business faces obstacles due to interference from Emraan and his team, ‘Baba’ takes all measures to stop him, even if it means threatening his family.

In an interview with IANS, Emraan Hashmi revealed that he accepted the role after the first few narrations. Revealing how he compulsively read all the episodes, he said:
“After Neeraj’s narration, they gave me 4-5 episodes. And I binge-read them and was completely sold. I thought, yes, this is something I want to grab with both hands. Playing a customs officer, this world is very new. Not just for me, but for all the actors.”
