Stäubli, a global leader in high-performance fabric technologies, is pleased to announce its participation at Techtextil 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany, April 21-24, the leading international trade show for technical textiles and nonwovens. As technical textiles continue their rapid expansion in demanding markets such as defense, mobility, aerospace, construction, energy…

Stäubli will showcase innovative solutions designed to empower factories to produce the next generation of advanced fabrics.

Stäubli will showcase advanced fabric solutions at Techtextil 2026, highlighting technologies for high-performance technical textiles, such as 3D composites and industrial fabrics. Key exhibits include the MAGMA tying machine, TF series and UNIVAL Jacquard weaving systems, enabling precision, efficiency and flexibility for next-generation applications.

Stäubli will exhibit its trend-setting technologies in the Swiss pavilion, stand B01.6 in hall 12.0.

Technical textiles: a market accelerating towards high-performance innovation

Globally increasing demand for reinforcing fabrics, multi-layer structures, 3D composites and high-value industrial textiles is reshaping manufacturing expectations. Reliable equipment, flexible knitting architectures and precise material handling have become essential for knitting mills seeking new applications and higher-performing products. This expansion underscores the critical role of advanced fabric solutions in meeting the changing needs of the industry. Stäubli’s decades of experience in the technical fabric position the company as a key contributor to this transition.

Stäubli fabric systems are widely used to produce demanding technical fabrics, from lightweight reinforcement materials, OPW airbags to filtration fabrics, medical textiles and specialized industrial materials.

By combining cutting-edge mechanical engineering, advanced electronic control and long-term customer support, Stäubli guarantees stable performance and high fabric quality in all applications.

Stäubli Solutions to discover at Techtextil 2026

At this year’s edition, Stäubli will showcase its MAGMA tying machine, a robust, high-efficiency solution specifically designed to handle the increasingly diverse and demanding yarns used in today’s technical textile applications, including polypropylene ribbons and other challenging filament structures. MAGMA offers consistent tying quality while reducing the downtime traditionally associated with warp changes.

Stäubli will also present its TF series knitting machines, designed for the production of advanced, multi-layer, high-performance 3D fabrics using demanding materials such as carbon, glass and aramid fibres.

  • The TF20 offers high speed capability and a double rapier option, increasing production for industries requiring lightweight composite reinforcements.
  • The TF30 ensures smooth yarn handling while supporting highly sophisticated weaving structures, making it ideal for industrial and aerospace grade textiles.

As part of our other solutions for technical textiles, the UNIVAL 100 electronic Jacquard machine provides unparalleled flexibility for weaving complex and sophisticated technical fabrics. With individually controlled harness cables and exceptional movement precision, the UNIVAL 100 is particularly suitable for 3D knitting and processing of demanding materials such as glass and carbon fibers.

The LX 2494 Jacquard machine is ideal for weaving technical fabrics on all types of looms. Very robust and wear-resistant, it breaks new ground in heavy fabrics and is designed for many years of daily use with minimal maintenance. The Stäubli M6T 3-position module principle makes the machine particularly compact and plays an important role in realizing its performance potential.

Stäubli’s heavy-duty machinists offer the power and precision needed to weave complex, high-tension structures into technical and industrial fabrics. Designed for demanding applications, they ensure exceptional stripping accuracy, stable high-speed performance and long-term mechanical reliability.
