Second cut of the trailer
After the trailer of The Raja Saab promised equal parts action, fun, romance and horror, it has generated a lot of excitement in the minds of movie buffs. Director Maruthi reportedly wants to cash in on the anticipation for the film and is planning to shoot a second trailer. Apparently, the images from the special trailer would be filmed exclusively for that purpose and will not be part of the film. This interesting development has certainly excited fans, but considering the tightrope the creators are walking, timing could pose a challenge for the director.

Special session for the trailer?
According to sources, the special shooting of the trailer may begin once the makers have decided on the post-production work. “Though the director aims to have a unique second trailer to ramp up the excitement levels, it will be interesting to see the practicalities. The idea may sound interesting, but given the film’s deadline (release on January 9, 2026) and the magnitude of post-production work that needs to be completed, it is quite a task,” informs a source close to the unit. Will the Raja Saab break the conventional trailer cut style? We can’t wait to find out.
The recently released trailer shows a haunted house with supernatural activities along with some fun puns. But towards the end, it takes an interesting turn when Prabhas himself wields supernatural powers.
