The 2026 Golden Globes kicked off at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on January 11, 2026. The annual ceremony honors the best in film and television, and always begins with the elegant red carpet outside.

Starting the night with a victory was Teyana Taylorwho won the award for supporting actress in a major motion picture for her performance in One battle after another. Later it was Seth Roganwhich won Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy. His acceptance was a moment of art imitating life, which he acknowledged, referring to the Golden Globes episode of his Apple TV+ series.
