On Monday, September 22, Mars will enter Scorpio, where it will spend the next six weeks. So today’s show is about Mars in Scorpio. I’ll take a look at some of the traits and tendencies of Mars in Scorpio, and we’ll also touch on some of the aspects that Mars in Scorpio will bring to other planets during this time.

Well, back to Mars in Scorpio.
Mars is at home in Scorpio, this is one of the places of domicile or government of Mars. In fact, it is the nocturnal home of Mars, and since Mars is a planet that belongs to the nocturnal sect, this is possibly the most comfortable sign of Mars.
The cool, moist qualities of the water sign Scorpio can moderate the intrinsic heat of Mars, helping to reduce impulsivity and instead adding a more strategic, cold, sharp and focused version of Mars.
Battle plan, game plan: a few steps ahead.
The fixed quality of Scorpio can also help stabilize Mars, shifting focus from short-term desires to long-term goals or initiatives that might take time to achieve. In Scorpio, Mars has a methodical, measured and intense drive.
I always think that when Mars is in a water sign, mood can influence motivation. And while that’s true, Mars in Scorpio draws on emotional undercurrents as fuel for action and progress. There is strength and deep courage in Mars in Scorpio, along with a tenacious quality.
While Mars is in Scorpio, tune into your feelings, especially those that may be uncomfortable, such as frustration, anger, even rage, or determination, obsession, and intense focus. These strong feelings can help you move forward or make an important decision now.
Mars in Scorpio is calm, as all water signs have the designation of silence. So we’re not shouting goals from the rooftops here, you’re just getting on with the task of getting things done. Decide and do it, rinse and repeat.

As Mars moves through Scorpio, in a quiet, behind-the-scenes manner, Mars will make a number of aspects to other planets, including Pluto, Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn.

Mars square Pluto: September 24
Clash of power, forcefulness, intense tension, steaming disagreement, disagreements, adjustments, willful at all costs, ruthless. The most challenging aspect of all that Mars in Scorpio will pose.
Mercury conjunct Mars: October 20
Specific, strategic, detailed, decisive and sharp words, tactical plan, details and information that support actions and choices.
October 28 – 29 Mars forms a trine with Jupiter and Saturn, creating a grand trine, with each planet in a different water sign. This links the three higher planets in collaborative aspects. This could help you develop a plan or strategy for a more substantial change. You could gather resources and support for an important goal or an upcoming adventure. Decisions are likely to be made regarding medium and long-term possibilities.
Mars trine Jupiter: October 28: Support, encouragement, opportunities, confidence, progress, action welcomed
Mars trine Saturn: October 29: Clarity, stability, proper caution, constant progress while respecting limits and responsibilities
