New Saudi airline Riyadh Air has appointed FlyUs Aviation Group (FlyUs) as its general sales agent (GSA) in the United Kingdom and Ireland, effective October 26, 2025.
FlyUs will oversee sales, customer service and capacity management, and the deal coincides with Riyadh Air’s first scheduled flights to London Heathrow Airport (LHR), operated daily by the airline’s Boeing 787-9.
Carlo de Haas, Chairman and CEO of FlyUs, said: “It is rare to see a new airline start daily widebody operations at Heathrow, so to be involved from the first departure is a real privilege.
“This appointment is a testament to FlyUs’ proven track record in cargo sales and our commitment to providing market-leading representation.
“This partnership offers the market direct and reliable access to Saudi Arabia, a market of increasing importance for the manufacturing, e-commerce and logistics of high-value and perishable products.”
Pravin Singh, Chief Cargo Officer of Riyadh Air, said: “The appointment of FlyUs marks the beginning of a strong partnership based on shared ambition and operational excellence.
“Their local experience and proven track record will help us offer Riyadh Air“The promise of reliable, customer-focused charging solutions across the UK and Ireland.”
Riyadh Air will play a pivotal role in supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions by connecting Riyadh to 100 destinations by 2030, facilitating the growth of trade and logistics around the world.
De Haas added: “Fly us owns and operates its own fleet of trucks, providing daily temperature-controlled services to and from the Benelux and the UK.
“For our carrier customers in Europe, this means they will be able to benefit from Riyadh Air’s new route to Heathrow via our road feeder services.”
