Kieffer Moore scored a second-half hat-trick as Wrexham came back to become the first Championship team to beat leaders Coventry City this season with a victory at the Stok Cae Ras.
Ephron Mason-Clark put the visitors on course for a seventh consecutive victory by opening the scoring in the 22nd minute, deflecting a Tatsuhiro Sakamoto cross with a cool half-volley inside the box.

New signing Moore capitalized on two crosses and a through ball from Josh Windass, sliding in to equalize in the 60th minute and heading unmarked nine minutes later, then fired the final goal from a tight angle to ensure City’s 12-game unbeaten start to the campaign came to an end.

Sakamoto’s excellent strike from the edge of the area two minutes from time gave Coventry hope, but Wrexham remained unbeaten in four home league games and moved up to 11th place, two points off the play-offs after playing one more game than the teams above them.

Coventry are three points ahead of second-placed Middlesbrough, who play their remaining game at Watford on Saturday, and five clear of Millwall, the team immediately outside the automatic promotion places in the race to reach the Premier League.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson made four changes to the starting team since the 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough six days earlier, bringing on Dan Scarr in place of injured defender Lewis Brunt.
Left-back Liberato Cacace also started, as did Ben Sheaf, who once played for Coventry, and fellow midfielder Lewis O’Brien.
George Dobson, George Thomason and Ryan Longman also made way.
