While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Rajesh Kumar, who played Rosesh Sarabhai, said, “I cannot express how emotional these last 24-25 hours have been. It is very difficult to even express it. But I do want to clarify a few things about Satishji’s demise… Yes, he had a kidney problem, but he actually passed away due to a heart attack.”
He further added, “He was at home, having lunch, and then he just… passed away. I wanted to clarify this because some reports say it was due to kidney problems. The kidney problem had already been treated; it was under control. Unfortunately, it was sudden cardiac arrest that took him.”
Satish’s manager Ramesh Kadatala also opened up about the actor’s sudden demise. “Kal lunch karte samaye hua tha. Woh khana khaate khaate ek niwala khaye, phir collapse ho gaye. Kuch half an hour laga ambulance laane mein… hospital jaane par declare kiya doctor ne,” he shared.
