SEATTLE, February 17, 2026 – Boeing and Air Astana JSC today announced that Kazakhstan’s flag carrier has finalized an order for up to 15 787 Dreamliner aircraft to grow and modernize its Boeing widebody fleet. The agreement for additional 787-9 aircraft will allow Air Astana to expand its operations and improve its passenger experience. The order, previously announced as a November 2025 commitment, represents Air Astana’s largest single aircraft purchase. With three more 787-9 aircraft to be delivered through lessors, Air Astana’s 787 fleet will grow to 18 787-9 aircraft to boost its long-haul capabilities.
