Pakistan Textile Exports Increased 5.63% in Q1 FY26 Due to Strong Demand


Pakistan’s textile and apparel exports rose 5.63 percent to $4.77 billion in Q1FY26, driven by higher global demand, improved cotton production and renewed investment in machinery. Knitwear and synthetic fiber products led growth, while exports of cotton fabrics fell due to weak Asian demand. The sector contributed more than 62 percent of total exports, reaffirming its vital role in Pakistan’s economy.
