Hello loves!
No one loves facing a Monday after a big weekend, especially those who work 9 to 5. And now that I’ve taken a break from my full-time job, I no longer feel the Monday blues. Which, while I’m glad, I sometimes miss being at work and putting together my work wardrobe.
And when I saw these amazing side slit pants at ZARA recently, I came up with so many ways to style these trendy pants, especially in my work wardrobe. Even if I don’t work full time, these pants are perfect for a work meeting or semi-formal event.
So, I ended up pairing it with an oversized sequin shirt which was one of my favorite finds from my first visit to Colaba Market in Mumbai.
Completing the look were my stylish ankle strap heels from Mast and port and a pair of statement earrings. And of course I couldn’t help but design it with the gucci Grained leather bag that is, in many ways, a wardrobe staple. Not only does it have a versatile design, but it’s roomy enough to carry all my everyday essentials and has tall handles that are really comfortable to carry.

While I chose an oversized shirt to style these really chic side slit pants, you can pair it with a silk blouse or tank top for a chic street look. In fact, you’ll find many versions of these pants: with front slits, thigh-high side slits, or even double-sided slits that are a fresh update to your favorite pants.

The best thing about this new trend is that no matter what your personal style is, you’ll find a pair for every occasion, from a casual style for relaxing by the pool or a structured style like mine that can take you from work to party.
