Ava Pearl predicted Mickey Lee’s tragic death.
The prediction video, from just a few months before Mickey’s death on December 25, has resurfaced.
Over the years, there have been cheerful predictions: for example, a Real Housewife accurately indicates how long another person’s marriage would last.
This, however, is a grim prognosis for the death of a 35-year-old girl. Take a look at the Big Brother shorten.
Ava Pearl never wanted to predict that Mickey Lee would die young
Both Mickey Lee and Ava Pearl appeared on season 27 of Big Brother.
This particular season ran from July to September 2025 and ended just three months before Mickey’s death.
In the video clip that has resurfaced Instagram and beyond, Lee laughs as he describes Ava reading his palm.
Palmistry, or palm reading, is a divisive form of divination and is often characterized as a pseudoscience. There are many conflicting interpretations of the human palm and (with respect to people’s spiritual beliefs) none seem to have any real bearing on a person’s future.
Except, in this case, Ava’s palm reading was grimly accurate.
In the clip, Mickey doesn’t seem like someone who would be moved by the prediction of his untimely death.
“She was like, ‘This is the lifesaver. Oh, it’s a little short,'” he tells Ashley about Ava’s palm-reading comment.
Mickey laughs.
Ashley agrees that Ava “freaked out” trying to read Mickey’s palm.
“Mickey says, ‘Does that mean I’m going to die early?’” Ashley describes. “She was like, ‘Um, you know…let me do Ashley’s.’ And then she reads mine and says, ‘Oo, I see a long life line for you.’”
She will always be part of the ‘Big Brother’ story.
During season 27 of Big BrotherMickey Lee became Head of Household during the fourth week.
She would win a competition in the sixth week.
In week eight, she was nominated alongside Ashley Hollis, who would win the season. Mickey, however, received an eviction.
This meant that Mickey spent 598 days in the house, finishing in tenth place and was the last houseguest to depart before the jury phase.
This was her first real foray into the spotlight. Tragically, it would be the last.
As we previously reported, Mickey’s family revealed his death in a post. He died on December 25, just months after his time on reality TV ended.
“It is with deep sadness that Mickey Lee’s family announces his Christmas transition early this afternoon,” the family statement began.
“Mickey captured the hearts of audiences across the country through his appearance on ‘Big Brother,’” his family continued.
They wrote: “Where her authenticity, strength and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike.”
The statement concluded: “She will be remembered for the joy she brought to the lives of so many people and for the genuine connections she formed on and off screen.”
We don’t think Ava Pearl is a psychic, folks.
Even people who are big fans of divination (whether Tarot cards or something else) in their spiritual or religious practice tend to distrust or even openly criticize palmistry.
However, there is no denying that it is downright disturbing that a 35-year-old woman was told her salvation was “short” just months before her death.
As we reported, Mickey Lee died after multiple cardiac arrests. Mickey had been battling the flu. She was also born with a hole in her heart.
We here at THG I cannot verify that Ava Pearl possesses mystical powers to divine people’s life expectancy. Most likely, this is a tragic coincidence.
Our hearts go out to Mickey’s family and loved ones at this time. It’s not a good time to lose a loved one, but the holidays can be especially hard, then and every year in the future.
