Amid Bitcoin’s roughly 3.1% pullback this month, Strategy co-founder and CEO Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin (BTC) will touch $150,000 by the end of 2025.

Saylor sees $150K BTC incoming

“I think these 12 months have probably been the best 12 months in the history of the industry,” Saylor saying while chatting recently with CNBC at the Money 20/20 fintech conference in Las Vegas.

Their bullish reasoning centers on four main factors: the adoption of tokenized securities by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s support for stablecoins to maintain dollar hegemony, favorable regulations in the United States, and decreasing volatility.

“Volatility is emerging as the industry becomes more structured with more derivatives and ways to hedge it. Our expectation right now is that by the end of the year, it should be around $150,000, and that is the consensus of equity analysts who cover our company and the Bitcoin industry,” Saylor opined.

His prediction comes amid lackluster crypto asset prices, following a sudden market crash triggered by US President Donald Trump reigniting a tariff war with China. Tensions between the two countries appear to have cooled in recent weeks, as representatives from both sides expressed their willingness to negotiate an agreement.

Long term, Saylor is thinking even bigger.

“I don’t know why you won’t get up to a million dollars per coin in the next four to eight years,” he continued. “And of course, my long-term forecast is that it will increase about 30% annually for the next 20 years, and we are heading towards $20 million in Bitcoin.”

On Wednesday, the US Federal Reserve cut the interest rate by 0.25%, a widely expected move that left crypto markets largely unimpressed. The price of Bitcoin remains well below the all-time high it recorded earlier this month. The top cryptocurrency was changing hands at around $111,367 at press time.

Saylor’s outlook for 2025 is more conservative than other prominent Bitcoiners. BitMine President Tom Lee and former BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes said they remain confident that BTC can surpass $200,000 to $250,000 by the end of the year, a prediction they have held onto for most of this year.
