Mazda has presented its latest SUV, the Mazda EZ-60in China, marking the brand’s boldest step yet into the electric vehicle market. The model, which promises solid performance, advanced features and highly competitive pricing, will be launched globally in 2026 under the name Mazda CX-6e.

The EZ-60 comes in all-electric and hybrid configurations.

He electric version is driven by a 190kW motor paired with a 77.94 kWh LFP batterydelivering up 600 km (approximately 373 miles) range with a single charge.

He hybrid version combines the same 190 kW electric motor with a 1.5 liter petrol enginewhich acts mainly as a generator. This configuration offers around 200 km (124 miles) electric rangewhile the combined system extends the total driving range to approximately 1,000 kilometers (621 miles).

The EZ-60 reflects Mazda’s modern design language, with a closed front grill and a illuminated Mazda emblem to give it a futuristic touch. Inside, the SUV features several high-tech features, including:

Prices and global launch

In China, the EZ-60 is aggressively priced, starting at approximately $15,000 and finishing close $20,000 depending on the version. While prices are expected to be higher in global markets, Mazda aims to keep the CX-6e affordable compared to its competitors, making it an attractive entry into the growing electric vehicle segment.
