Welcome to May 2025! Wow! It’s hard to believe that we are already in the fifth month of 2025! How the hell did that happen lol?
This month promises to be much more serene and calm compared to the first 4 months of this year. In fact, May 2025 will seem like a piece of cake, especially compared to last month. April was definitely the most turbulent month of 2025 and I don’t know a single person who hasn’t seen and felt firsthand the intensity of the past month.
May 2025 is a turning point and will herald mostly encouraging and supportive astrological alignments. After all the h** of the last few months, I’d say we all deserve it! It’s time to move forward with the wisdom we’ve gained these past few months and the faith that better days are on the horizon!
On May 4, Pluto, the planet of transformation, intensity, and renewal, turns retrograde at 3 degrees Aquarius. Pluto in retrograde motion will allow these transformations to now become more of an internal process. Deep healing, especially related to any radical or “existing” ideas, will be the best way to use this retrograde period. Deep insights and new developments related to technology will be the norm for the next 6 months while Pluto is in retrograde motion. For people with their Sun, Moon, or Ascendant signs at or near 3 degrees of Aquarius or other fixed signs of Taurus, Leo and Scorpio will be the most affected by this retrograde. Expect the unexpected with Pluto retrograde in the rebellious sign of Aquarius.
Moving into the middle of the month, on May 12, we have the super intense Full Moon at 22 degrees Scorpio. Full moons herald endings, culminations and massive manifestations. Scorpio, the eighth sign of the zodiac, deals with death/rebirth, joint partnerships, and intensity. This Full Moon will be FULL! It will oppose Uranus, the planet of change and upheaval found in the sign of Taurus. Expect to see this Full Moon in Scorpio reveal BIG secrets, most likely within the financial industries, as both Taurus and Scorpio rule the houses of money (2nd and 8th houses). Big financial deals and perhaps even sexual scandals could now be highlighted. However, with Uranus involved, you never know! If you have your Sun, Moon or Ascendant at 22 degrees Scorpio or the other fixed signs of Taurus, Leo or Aquarius, then this Full Moon will impact you the most. Expect unexpected but many intense culminations and endings in your life.
On May 20, the Sun, which represents our life force, ego and vitality, moves from the fundamental sign of Taurus to the intellectual sign of Gemini. The Sun in Gemini encourages a lot of communication and learning over the next month. Especially once Mercury, which rules the sign of Gemini, enters its home sign at the end of the month. Our brains and mouths will be all over the place right now. This is a great influence for learning new skills and having those conversations you may have been putting off. Happy birthday to all the Gemini people!
Moving on to May 24, we have one of the biggest transits of 2025, with the shift of Saturn, the planet of structures, obligations and delays, which will move from the sign of Pisces to the sign of Aries. This is just a taste of what’s to come over the next 2 years, as Saturn will only remain in the sign of Aries in 2025 until September before retrograding back into Pisces. Saturn in Aries will add seriousness and courage to all our plans and projects. Expect many people to become super motivated and entrepreneurial during this transit. Bold and decisive action is preferred, but we will still have to be patient, as this is the lesson of Saturn that could be complicated by the rapid influence of Aries. For people with their Sun, Moon or Ascendant signs in the early degrees of Aries or other cardinal signs of Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, they are expected to be the most affected by this Saturn transit. I will do a separate article on this transit, but the last time Saturn was in Aries was between April 2996 and February 1999. You may want to remember that time, as certain situations and events could repeat themselves with this upcoming Saturn in Aries transit.
