Marcus Rashford may be earning £12million while on loan at Barcelona for the 2025/26 season, but his furniture choices show he is keeping things surprisingly down to earth.
Despite the salary that would allow him to decorate his new apartment in luxury Spanish design, Rashford was recently spotted taking a very ordinary shopping trip… to IKEA.
The Manchester United loanee was seen wandering the aisles of the Swedish furniture giant in the city centre, wearing sandals and carrying one of IKEA’s signature blue bags.

Fans were quick to celebrate the moment, with one viewer saying the sun: “It was incredible to see such a famous player in a store like IKEA. He has enough money to buy whatever he wants, but maybe IKEA was an easier place for him to go and mingle. Barça fans love when their stars do things like this.”
The 27-year-old’s loan to Barcelona includes an option for the Catalan giants to make the deal permanent for around £26million. He has made two appearances so far, including one start, but is yet to register a goal or assist.
Rashford, however, has looked bright and relatively sharp, with his performances – and his form at Aston Villa towards the end of last season – enough to convince Thomas Tuchel to call him into the England squad for their September internationals.
