Kate Middleton attended the men’s final of the Wimbledon Championships today at the All England Club in London.

Dressed in a striking cobalt blue Roksanda dress, which featured a striking ruffle on the shoulder, the Princess of Wales looks refined but relaxed for the end of summer. We were also delighted to see his straw hat return this year. Click to jump to outfit details ⬇
The Princess returned to the Royal Box for the second day in a row, having watched Poliand’s Iga Swiatek win the women’s title on Saturday. That match lasted just under an hour.

Today saw Italy’s Jannik Sinner play against Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, the two best men’s players in the world at the moment.

Sinner defeated Alcaraz, the defending champion, winning the competition for the first time in his career.
Alcaraz and Sinner faced each other at the French Open just 35 days ago, and Alcaraz emerged victorious. It was the longest French Open final in history, lasting five hours and 29 minutes.
Fortunately, the tennis didn’t last that long today: the pair battled on the court for just over three hours.

Having attended the women’s final alone yesterday, Kate made today a family affair, arriving accompanied by William, George and Charlotte.
The boys looked dapper as always – George dapper in a navy suit, Charlotte sweet in a cream ruffled dress, while William kept it classic in a navy jacket and cream chinos.

Before the match, the family met with players, officials, guests and even British naturalist Steve Backshall as part of Kate’s patronage duties.
Here is the princess about to take her seat:

After the game, Kate walked onto the court and briefly met the ball boys and girls who had attended today.

He then handed the winner’s trophy to Sinner, smiling:

The lucky young royals met Sinner after he won the Wimbledon title.

Kate is passionate about tennis and her love for the sport is well documented. The princess has been a Wimbledon regular since she married Prince William in 2011 and rarely misses the occasion. This is her 27th appearance since joining the Royal Family.

To date, she has only missed the championship final once, while pregnant with Prince George in 2013. In an interview for Our Wimbledon, In a BBC documentary that aired in 2017, Kate revealed that doctors advised her not to attend. She will have been disappointed to have missed Andy Murray’s historic victory – he defeated Novak Djokovic to become the first Briton to win the final in 77 years. Prince George was born two weeks later.
A quick behind-the-scenes shot, before moving on to what you’re really after here: fashion!

Let’s discuss the eye-catching aspect.
Kate’s outfit at Wimbledon today:
In the men’s final at Wimbledon, the princess wore a custom-made dress by Roksanda. Here we show the Princess next to the designer. soul dress:

And Roksanda’s miral dress Shown below, it has the same V-neckline as Kate’s dress.

Also note the curved panels on the bodice and skirt in both the miral and the Soul dresses: Kate’s dress also has this feature.
Kate’s dress is the closest to the miral. Kate’s dress had added sleeves, a ruffle detail on the shoulder, darts on the bodice and a belt at the waist. The skirt is also a little longer and has a straight hem.
Kate’s dress is two-tone. The panel on the hip is blue-green; this is not obvious in many photos due to lighting. But you can really see it in the following image:

Kate’s dress is a bespoke commission, but to get an idea of the price, the Miral sold for £1,295 in Net-A-Porter before going on sale with a 50% discount.
The princess debuted her first Roksanda dress in 2011; She has since worn several of the designer’s dresses. In fact, Kate’s deep blue dress today reminded me of the vibrant yellow dress she wore to Jamaica in 2022, and then to Wimbledon a few months later:

Founded in 2005, Roksanda is a London-based fashion brand founded by Serbian designer Roksanda Ilinčić. The brand is known for its modern and feminine designs, characterized by bold colors, sculptural shapes and innovative use of fabrics.
I’m sure some of you would like to know more about Kate’s straw hat. It’s a LK Bennett piece, it’s from the company.saffron hat.

The hat features a wide, flexible brim and a round crown surrounded by a black ribbon. It is made with natural woven straw.

The Princess debuted the item in 2022 during the Wimbledon women’s singles finals.
LK Bennett put the hat into stock as of 4pm this afternoon but I fear that is no longer the case. The £69 cap is now sold out.
I saw Kate’s new Anya Hindmarch bag in a photo today – the princess debuted the bag at yesterday’s women’s final. It’s the Neeson bag by Anya Hindmarch. Kate wears it in ‘chalk’ color.

The bag is made from Capra leather and features a handy D-ring suspended from a leather tab on the side. Look closely and you’ll find Anya Hindmarch’s signature bow design woven into the front. The handles of the bag are adjustable for a perfect fit over the shoulder.
Do you want to buy the bag? It will cost you £950. Find it in AnyaHindmarch.com.
Kate is no stranger to Anya Hindmarch – she has several of the designer’s bags in her wardrobe. The Neeson Bag joins the Maud Clutch in Black Satin, the Maud Clutch in White Satin, a Woven Fan Bag, a Sparkly Gold Box Clutch, and a Red Lizard Print Clutch (off the top of my head, there may be more!).
Anya Hindmarch founded her company in the late 1980s and it has since become a global brand. The British designer is known for her quirky accessories and fun designs. Anya places sustainability at the center of her business, something we know Kate aligns with when it comes to fashion. Maybe you remember the I am NOT a Plastic Bag Campaign since 2007? The project raised awareness about the enormity of single-use plastic ending up in landfills. This was a bag designed by Anya in collaboration with Antitode and the global social change movement. We are what we do (now known as Shift).
After thousands of people queued to buy the bag at Sainsburys (80,000 on launch day), the project gained huge press coverage around the world, igniting debate over the use of plastic bags and contributing to the eventual decision to charge for plastic bags in the UK.

Kate’s sunglasses were another ‘repeat’ item from yesterday’s women’s final. They are from Ralph Lauren.

The Cat’s Eye ‘Ralph’ sunglasses are made from a lightweight, water-repellent polyamide. They have classic tinted lenses. Kate sports the ‘Black Havana’ style.
You want to buy the sunglasses, you’re in luck. They are widely available and quite affordable price-wise. I found the sunglasses in stock at Direct Optics for only £65 and Vision Expert for £69. They sell for around £90 almost everywhere else.
The princess is no stranger to Ralph Lauren; She’s turned to the brand for numerous engagements over the past 14 years, from printed blouses to heeled boots to chic knitwear.
Ralph Lauren needs very little introduction: the iconic American fashion house is known for its timeless, all-American aesthetic: impeccable tailoring, classic shirting, and a refined mix of equestrian and preppy influences.
Let’s now look at Kate’s earrings. The Princess wore her Cartier Trinity earrings for the second day in a row. The design consists of three small interlocking hoops in yellow, pink and white gold.

According Selfridges.comEach metal has a symbolic meaning: rose gold represents love, yellow represents fidelity, and white represents friendship.
Do you need a pair in your jewelry box? They retails for £3,050 in Selfridges.
Kate debuted the earrings earlier this year in January, and this is the fifth time we’ve seen her wear them in public to date.
Kate is a fan of Cartier and owns five items from the French brand’s Trinity collection. We have seen her with three pairs of earrings and two necklaces in total. Her sapphire and diamond ring and stainless steel watch are also from the company. Oh, and let’s not forget her iconic wedding tiara! That was also a gem from Cartier.
Cartier is one of the most prestigious jewelers in the world. Founded in Paris in 1847, the House is known for its elegant watches and iconic designs, from the Love bracelet to the Panthère motif.
Yesterday, Kate took a very low-key approach to accessories, wearing an affordable/accessible bracelet from Halcyon Days. Today she opted for the opposite approach: she wore a gold and diamond necklace. Daniella Draper. RRP: £3,375.

The brand confirms that the Princess wore her Gold pendant with 8 diamonds Luxury Forever on a thick handmade chain. (The pendant is usually sold with a more delicate chain.) Thanks to ellie and Natasha for identification.
Kate’s new necklace is made from recycled solid 9ct yellow gold and has been hand-set with eight sparkling diamonds.
Daniella Draper says that the diamond is the “stone of invincibility” that “It brings strength to those who wear it, while symbolizing light, commitment and purity.”
It can be purchased with the thinnest ‘trace’ chain at DaniellaDraper.com, but may take up to 2 weeks to manufacture and ship.
The gold circle necklace is the latest addition to Kate’s jewelry box – it’s the eighth piece of jewelry Kate has owned from the company, making the brand a rising favorite. In addition to this piece, she has been seen wearing two pairs of gold earrings and five other necklaces from the company.
The Draper brand has become known for its sustainable, handmade designs that have an organic, almost rugged charm. Although luxurious and meticulously crafted, her pieces often have a sort of “low-key” living feel.
Let’s finish with the Princess’s shoes. They are from Ralph Lauren, the Celia pumps in ‘Gold’.

the elegant golden brown shoes They feature a pointed toe and a 4″ heel. They have a branded cushioned leather insole and are made in Italy.
However, the exact style is no longer available to purchase. Farfetch store the Celia in cognac—I think it’s a little darker brown. Ralph Lauren has Kate’s shoe on black leather.
That’s all for today. Let me know in the comments which Wimbledon outfit you prefer. Are you the white team or the blue team?
