ISRAEL has recovered the bodies of two more hostages who were kidnapped during the October 7 attacks and killed in Hamas captivity.
Authorities identified the two deceased hostages as Amiram Cooper, 84, and Sahar Baruch, 25.
Cooper was taken hostage by Hamas terrorists from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz and was killed in February 2024, according to the IDF.
Baruch was also kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from Kibbutz Be’eri, and was killed in December 2023.
After Hamas handed over the remains to Israel yesterday, the IDF said: “Two coffins of deceased hostages, escorted by IDF troops, crossed the border into the State of Israel It’s been a while and they are on their way to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine. Medicinewhere the identification procedures will be carried out.
“IDF representatives accompany the families.”
Hamas has now returned 15 of the 28 hostages who died in captivity in Gaza.
Israel has demanded that all the bodies be handed over to them to completely end the war.
It comes after chilling footage captured Hamas thugs appearing to attempt to rebury the body of a hostage before attempting to uncover the body.

Hamas tried to say that the body was one of the hostages whose whereabouts were still unknown, as they were ordered to return every last captive so that a peace deal could be implemented in Gaza.
The IDF said they belonged to Ofir Tzarfati, 27, who was kidnapped at the Nova music festival during the Hamas massacre of October 7, 2023.
Tzarfati was killed in captivity and his body was sent to his loved ones in November 2023.
