We can’t say for sure if Meri Brown is a Taylor Swift fan, but yes can Now say the following after watching the latest episode of Sister Wives:
Meri is ready to enter a new era.
In the latest installment of this TLC reality show, Brown was prominently featured alongside her close friend Jenn Sullivan…who openly wondered why her best friend was still so complacent after her split from her horrible husband Kody.
Simply put, Jenn said astonishingly, Kody was acting like a “jerk.” How much longer would Meri put up with it?
Meri actually gave a timeline in response, estimating “six weeks” from the time this episode was filmed because this would, presumably, finalize the sale of the former couple’s Coyote Pass property.
Eff that, Sullivan basically said. It was time for Meri to end her “good girl” era, to which Meri admitted: I don’t want to be a bitch.
Real talk? It is actually a very sad situation for a woman to think that she will be labeled that way simply because she stands up for herself.
It’s not being a bitch. It is being a strong and assertive human being.
Of all of Kody’s ex-wives, Meri is definitely the one who has defended the father of 18 the most. She also stated that he is on a journey towards happiness and independence, so is It is possible to do both things simultaneously.
Back to this episode, though, and Jenn encourages her friend to go over to the “dark side,” even making her repeat phrases like “You don’t control me.”
Meri at least followed the advice.
He practiced telling Kody to “get ready” and even told him (well, he told Jenn, pretending to be him) to “do his hair.”
Both ladies laughed at that.
We’ll see where this all goes, of course.
Coyote Pass sold out in April, so we believe season 20 was filmed many months ago.
Around this time, to Meri’s credit, she started playing hardball, even threatening to sue Kody if she didn’t get her fair share.
“There are some things I will fight for, and this is one of them. There are so many people who say, ‘She was a liar. She was manipulative,'” Meri says at one point in the new season.
To this we say: Well done! You’re not being the B word, Meri. You are only claiming what is rightfully yours.
