Heard at HLTH 2025: Healthcare executives highlight artificial intelligence, return on investment and fertility technology. (Video)

In the recent HEALTH 2025 At the conference in Las Vegas, MedCity News Editor-in-Chief Arundhati Parmar and reporter Marissa Plescia interviewed healthcare executives leading a wide range of health technology companies. They shared new developments, how they are integrating AI, and what they are doing to disrupt the status quo in healthcare.

Carrot Fertility Dr. Asima Ahmad, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder, spoke about Carrot’s approach to fertility health and explained why it is more than just IVF treatments. She also explained how she is trying to change the status quo in women’s healthcare.

Euphoria health CEO and co-founder Kyna Fong said many important needs in primary care are not well met by standard EHRs, such as longitudinal patient insight. Primary care is often subject to performance criteria that puts a lot of pressure on doctors. He also highlighted how AI is being implemented in practice management, patient documentation and, increasingly, to reduce administrative burden through automation.

Hey Sezin Palmer, Americas healthcare AI technology consulting leader, previewed an upcoming report on how to get return on investment (ROI) from AI. He noted that revenue cycle management is an area where it is easy to evaluate ROI. It also addressed consolidation and offered a prediction on areas where generative AI would have the greatest impact on clinical care and payers.

Flashlight President Dickon Waterfield spoke about specialty care, navigation and how the company is driving people to use its proprietary network of doctors. He also talked about the ROI that Lantern offers.

Naviña CEO and co-founder Ronen Lavi spoke about their approach to value-based care and how the company is closing the communication gap between providers and payers. He also explained the company’s AI strategy.

Particle health Jason Prestinario, CEO, spoke about how to transform data into insights and actions with a data democratization perspective. He also shared what the company hopes to achieve next year, particularly leveraging AI.
