The full moon lunar eclipse in Virgo opposes a series of planets in Pisces. There is an enormous amount of emotional energy circulating in the astral. Pisces rules the mentality of victim, sacrifice, savior and, on a deeper level, death and surrender. The Virgo moon should bring stability and grounding to all watery energy; However, the moon is being eclipsed.
We currently have five planets in Pisces: Mars, the North Node, the Sun, Mercury retrograde, and Venus. Mars, planet of active will and masculine energy, has just entered Pisces, where you tend to feel lost and directionless. Does the active masculine energy simply go with the currents or does it decide to muster all its courage and swim to shore? This is the collective challenge facing the masculine right now.
Mercury, the planet of the mind, is retrograde in Pisces, so communications are vague and confusing, and misunderstandings and past emotions are likely to obscure the topic at hand. The Virgo shadow is about being so focused on the details that you can’t see the forest for the trees; a prisoner of the intellectual mind with no connection to the soul; allow precision to destroy humanity; being too perfectionist; and succumb to the illusion of separation. These traits are emerging in the collective to be clarified.
The Sun has just passed over the North Node and Mars is moving towards it. We are challenged to enter the realm of intuition and soul, and use them as a tool in our daily lives. The North Node in Pisces asks us to surrender and move forward with the work of the soul, committing ourselves to the path of service. It asks us to feel compassion for all and to be sensitive to the plight of others, while maintaining a dispassionate inner core of strength. The North Node here among all the personal planets calls us to let go of excessive emotionality, victimhood, martyrdom and lack of direction; and step into the strength of Pisces, which is soul-driven fluidity and receptive compassion.
The Virgo moon balances all this water energy with focused, grounded, precision-based thinking. However, when the total eclipse passes through, the ground will shake and cause some disturbance in the area of life indicated in your birth chart.
