On July 10 we will have the super positive and hard-working Full Moon at 18 degrees Capricorn. Full moons bring all of our deepest feelings to the surface to be recognized + acknowledged. They are very emotional and signify endings, culminations and manifestations. Capricorn, the tenth sign of the zodiac, is all about order, business, organization, making things happen, and getting to the top.
This is a wonderful supportive Full Moon. To be honest, the last few full moons of 2025 haven’t been the easiest. We can give a sign of relief as this lunar event is for the most part very positive and productive. With the sensitive Sun in Cancer opposing this structured “get it done” Full Moon, we will be asked to balance our tenderness with a plan and purpose.
The Full Moon in Capricorn is here to usher in organization and big business plans. No other sign is as capable and achievement-focused as an obedient Capricorn. As I have shared in many previous articles, the symbolism of Capricorn is the mountain goat. Mountain goats go days without food or water as they climb the mountain in search of the summit. Their resilience and steadfast nature is a perfect representation of what Capricorn is all about: hard work, achievement at any cost, and commitment to success. This is a great Full Moon to make great progress within a business project or any activity in which you have to be super focused and determined to succeed. Technically, the Moon is detrimental to Capricorn, as it rules its opposite sign, Cancer. With the detriment position, this Full Moon in Capricorn is not as emotionally sensitive and powerful. However, this Full Moon still wants to give us results and if we are willing to plan our work and execute our plan, great success and achievements in the long term are guaranteed.
The Full Moon in Capricorn will form a lovely, positive trine (120 degree aspect) to Mars, the planet of action, willpower and drive currently in the sign of Virgo. The Full Moon in a positive aspect to Mars will add grounded ambition and practicality to our plans and projects. We will have a real drive and a critical eye for what we are creating now. If you’ve been wanting to start a business or improve your current career, now is a wonderful time to do it. I would just recommend keeping in mind the upcoming Mercury retrograde cycle that begins on July 17, as it could hinder new initiatives, but will be positive around past efforts and projects.
Anyone with their Sun, Moon or Ascendant signs at or near 18 degrees Capricorn or other cardinal signs of: Aries, Cancer and Libra will be the most affected by this laborious Full Moon.
