After leading the CRMA subsidiary, he joined AFI KLM E&M in 2014 as group component product director. Since 2018, he has served as senior vice president of aircraft engineering and maintenance.

Mercier will replace d’Andrea and leave Barfield, where he served as CEO for the past three years.

He began his career in Italy, working in component shops and in line and base maintenance, before moving to France to take up executive roles in engineering and procurement. He later spent six years as CEO of Aerotechnic Industries in Morocco, overseeing base and line maintenance operations.

Jobert, for his part, will take up his new position in the Asia-Pacific region on July 1, 2026. He began his career at the age of 16, when he entered the Air France training center to become an aircraft mechanic.

Specializing in operational maintenance, industrial customer service and strategy, Jobert has since held a number of senior leadership positions. Most recently, she served as vice president of component and aerostructure asset management, focusing on strategic asset management for industrial clients.

Brachet said: “I want to thank Géry Mortreux for his 10 years of total dedication and great achievements. It was a real pleasure to work with such an extraordinary professional and such a kind human being. Additionally, I am delighted to announce four new key appointments.
