Fans of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in Australia’s National Rugby League are not impressed with the club’s new logo and are letting the team know.

“The logo looks like Temu’s Paw Patrol,” said one follower. News.com.au. “Let’s just hope the team plays with the same ‘grit’ and ‘determination’ represented in the new logo, according to the club’s announcement.”

“I’ve double checked today’s date and it’s not April 1st. WTAF is that?” another posted on Twitter. “Where was the engagement with members?”

Some fans even felt they could produce similar results using generative AI software.

However, the Bulldogs’ players and management had more favorable reactions to the logo.

“Yes, the new logo means a lot. It shows courage and determination… facing our challenges head on. It was a challenging year, this year with everything we went through,” captain Stephen Crichton told News.com.au. “The new logo shows all our fans and other teams and clubs that we are not going to back down.”

“This new emblem is more than just a logo: it reflects who we are, where we come from and where we are going. It carries forward the fighting spirit that has defined this Club since 1935, as we face the future head-on with confidence and pride,” added Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton in a Press release.
