Aerospace engine aftermarket services company StandardAero has announced that Simon Dine has joined the company’s commercial engine services sales team as vice president of sales and lessors.
In a social media post, StandardAero confirmed that Dine will be based in the UK and will work closely with its vice presidents of sales, its business solutions team and its asset management group to ensure the company can fully meet the unique needs of the industry’s leasing community.
Dine has 20 years of experience in the aviation industry and a proven track record in leasing sales and support. He was most recently senior vice president of engine operations at Nordic Aviation Capital, prior to which he spent more than 16 years at GE Aerospace in a variety of roles, including general manager of lessor operations.
