The second chapter of Chakradatta is called Jvarātisāra Chikitsa Adhyaya. This chapter deals with the treatment of Jvarātisāra.
Peya in jvaratisära
ज्वरातिसारे पेया–
ज्वरातिसारे पेयादिक्रमः स्याल्लङ्घिते हितः ।।1।।
The peya dietary regimen, etc. should be followed after adequate langhana therapy. (1)
Utpalaṣatka peya
उत्पलषट्कपेया
ज्वरातिसारी पेयां वा पिबेत्साम्लां शृतां नरः ।
पृश्निपर्णीबलाबिल्व-नागरोत्पलधान्यकैः ।।2।।
The peya prepared with priśniparni, balā, bilva, sunthi, utpala and dhānyaka mixed with Acidic substances should be administered in jvarātisāra patients (2)

उत्पलाद्यं चूर्णम्–
उत्पलं दाडिमत्वक् च पद्मकेशरमेव च।

The fine powder prepared with utpala, Dadima (phala tvak) and padma keśara taken with tandulodaka relieves jvaratisära. (21)

व्योषादिचूर्णम्–
व्योषं वत्सकबीजञ्च निम्बभूनिम्बमार्आ ।
चित्रकं रोहिणीं पाठां दार्वीमतिविषां समाम्।।22।।

सर्वमेकत्र संयोज्य पिववारिणा।।23।।
