Carly and six-time Grammy Award-winning music composer Cole MGN first crossed paths in May 2021 at a songwriting session. After this, they began working together, and in 2022, the duo began dating. First they collaborated on the song, Without labels I love you. Well, two years later in 2024, the couple got engaged and after this, they got married earlier this month. The couple wanted their wedding venue to have meaning and for that reason they got married at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City, as this place holds memories of their bond and feels like a home away from home. Talking to Vogue about the same, Carly said:
“We knew we wanted a venue that meant something to us, and the Chelsea Hotel had become a home away from home whenever we were in New York. As artists, its iconic history and tradition made it that much more appealing. For planning, we had weekly appointments to discuss all the details of the wedding. This way, it was just fun and not too much at the same time.”

Carly Rae Jepsen The wedding was attended by 100 guests and her uncle and aunt officiated the ceremony, according to Vogue. The beautiful actress wore a white strappy dress with a crushed effect and a thigh-high slit. An attached train and veil were enough to add an elegant touch to the bride’s dress, which was by Loho Bride and designed by Australian designer Toni Maticevski. Carly said she wanted to wear a flowy dress because she had been trying to get pregnant. In Carly’s words:
“We knew we were trying to get pregnant, so I also wanted an alternative dress that was much more flowy and that I could wear to the ceremony or just change into for dancing.”
Carly Rae’s second dress was equally beautiful, and was a star layered dress with embroidery on the sheer layers. Carly chose her second Danielle Frankel dress and paired it with pearl earrings made by her mother. Speaking of the groom, Cole, wore a cream suit by Husbands in Paris and finished his look with Gucci shoes.
Carly and Cole’s wedding was full of love, excitement, and laughter, and although they thought they were going to cry, they couldn’t, given the fact that everyone around them was so happy and joyful. The wedding was attended by their close friends, who spoke about the duo’s love story and how they met and came to the wedding. The duo also wrote personal vows for each other, and the singer’s childhood friend sang at their wedding, making it a highlight of the intimate occasion. There’s no doubt that her wedding day is the most special day in a girl’s life, and the same was true for Carly, who, in her IG post, wrote:
“Husband. Feels good to say it. New York City ~ October 4th. Favorite day of my life.”
