Being the star of cult classics sometimes means having a lot of people rooting for you.
Beloved actor and director Bruce Campbell has revealed his cancer diagnosis.
The good news is that it says the cancer is “treatable.”
Unfortunately, acting legend says that cancer is not “curable.”

We all support him
On Monday, March 2, the beloved 67-year-old actor shared a tweet to reveal his condition.
“Hello people,” he began. “Nowadays, when someone has a health problem, it’s known as an ‘opportunity,’ so let’s get on with that.”
He acknowledged, “I’m taking one of those.”
Campbell specified: “It is also called a type of cancer that is ‘treatable’, not ‘curable.’”
He expressed: “I apologize if this is a shock, it was for me too.”

Although Campbell declined to go into detail about his cancer diagnosis, he did explain a series of canceled appearances.
“My plan is to do the best I can over the summer,” he shared with his fans and followers.
“So I can tour my new movie ‘Ernie & Emma’ this fall,” Campbell explained.
“Treatment needs and professional obligations do not always go hand in hand,” he acknowledged.
We’re glad you have the right priorities. Either you will have time to work later or you won’t; Either way, it can wait.
Why did you share your diagnosis?
Campbell also delved into why he wanted to make this grim news public.
First of all, you are not asking for advice, although you will certainly receive it, even from cancer deniers who are already sending you messages with erroneous and dangerous medical information.
Nor does he ask for sympathy. Cancer afflicts millions. He knows it.
Instead, their goal is simple: get ahead of the story and, especially, any false information that may emerge.
When you start receiving cancer treatments like a celebrity, the chances of someone seeing you and talking to you are increasing. I would rather people know the truth now than hear confusing information later.

“Fear not, I’m a tough old son of a bitch and I have great support,” Campbell said.
“So,” he shared, “I hope to be here for a while.” Good!
Campbell is aware that he has generations of devoted followers and shares their gratitude.
“As always, you are the biggest fans in the world,” he wrote, “and I hope to see you soon!”
We all hope to see him soon also completely recovered, or as recovered as possible.
What is your diagnosis?
Campbell very deliberately avoided revealing his specific diagnosis. Frankly, it’s none of our business.
He also didn’t share enough clues to tell anyone what type of cancer he has.
There are specific cancers that are considered too dangerous to try to “cure.”
Often, treatable-but-not-curable refers to cancers that have progressed to a certain level and are considered too advanced to be cured.
Whatever Campbell’s case, we wish him the best. He is well aware of how many people support him.
