Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma continues its impressive run at the box office. Despite receiving mixed reviews and facing a recent drop in views, the horror-comedy has officially crossed the 100 crore mark, joining the list of commercial successes this year.
According to box office tracker Sacnilk, Thamma earned Rs 5.50 crore on Tuesday, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 101.10 crore. The film experienced a slight jump. from 4.3 rupees on Monday crore, after a strong weekend that generated Rs 13.1 crore on Saturday and Rs 12.6 crore on Sunday.

The film had a powerful opening, grossing Rs 24 million on its first day and Rs 18.6 million on its second. It continued a steady streak with Rs 13 crore on the third day and Rs 10 crore on Friday, even while competing with Harshvardhan Rane’s Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. Released on October 21, Thamma has benefited from the festive backdrop of Diwali and the audience’s keen curiosity for its combination of genres.
Produced by Maddock Films, Thamma is the fifth installment in Dinesh Vijan’s growing horror-comedy universe that includes Stree, Roohi and Bhediya. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal.
