The British subsidiary of AVIC Cabin Systems (ACS) has announced that it is ready to receive new commercial orders from potential customers.
In 2022, the provider of galleys, monuments and feature panels had made the decision to reduce its offering to new business to focus on the delivery of programs acquired from Bournemouth-based AIM Altitude Ltd. ACS UK bought AIM Altitude out of administration in 2022 and immediately had to work at maximum capacity to ensure existing customer orders were met.

With these products successfully delivered and customer confidence fully maintained, ACS UK is now open and ready for new business.
Nigel McSorely, CEO of ACS UK, said: “We have been working quietly but busily in the background to safeguard future product offerings, and several key programs are already underway.”
ACS is owned by China-based parent company AVIC Aerospace Intl. Co. It has UK facilities in Bournemouth and Cambridge, as well as resources in China and New Zealand.
