The world is holding its breath after Pakistan negotiated an unlikely pause in the Middle East conflict with Trump’s bunker proclaiming mission accomplished. GW Bush stated the same thing years ago and the Iraq war dragged on for another 8 years.
April was always going to be a troublesome month with Mars entering fiery Aries on the 9th, increasing the aggressiveness, although it happens every two years so it’s not always a calamity. But this year there is already a collection of planets in Aries. It first crosses Neptune on the 12th.th for a shot of panic when plans don’t work out; then Mercury enters Aries; A New Moon in Aries on the 17th is followed by an accident-prone and potentially aggressive Mars conjunction with Saturn on the 19th.th which is associated with military action.
Mars in Aries is a reckless energy that acts first and thinks later, with a tendency to provoke arguments. He lacks tact and sensitivity to the feelings of others as he moves forward. More heat, less light. More hurry, less speed. Although in mythology Mars, the god of war, was considered a peacemaker.
Additionally, the New Moon on the 17th is conjunct Eris and Chiron the day or two before. A whole congregation of planetary/fixed stars and asteroids, all united.

Mercury in Pisces will conjunct Nessus on April 9. Generally associated with deception, Nessus plays a positive role, better preparing us to deal with risks and cons. It might suggest that “negotiations” in the Middle East and elsewhere are hampered by betrayal and insincerity. Nessus is also linked to ancestral and collective traumas: unresolved issues passed down through family lines or cultural groups that, like the Nessus Shirt, slowly poison or wound. On the positive side, it encourages people to confront injustice and toxic patterns to ensure that the past is not repeated, demanding that these hidden wounds be given voice and visibility. Which certainly sounds accurate for ancient Middle Eastern blood feuds.
On the 9th, Mars in Pisces is conjunct the fixed star, which is generally considered unlucky, likely to occur with accidents, natural disasters, and in this case, due to combative actions.
On the 15th, the Aries Sun is conjunct Eris, the dwarf planet, recognized for its similarities to Pluto. Although it is thought to be a force that disturbs, provokes and shatters illusions, it can also be a powerful force for personal evolution. Conflict and catalyst at the same time, it highlights fractures that already exist. It demands a stand against falsehoods and provokes a confrontation with uncomfortable truths. With awareness comes a time when it is crucial to challenge the distortions and say “No more.”
On the 16th, the Aries Sun conjuncts the centaur asteroid Chiron, suggesting that progress will not be made on the basis of pride, ego, or “winning.” Healing can only come from a place of altruism, which in a fight between alpha males, fueled by old blood feuds and incited by a rampant narcissist, can give fate pause for thought.
The Aries New Moon on the 17th joins the Eris conjunction Chiron, with all four tied in a bow. At best, it could signal new beginnings where there are enough voices saying “no more” and the healing of collective and generational trauma can begin. But that seems like a gigantic ask.
In Trump’s birth chart, Mercury in Cancer will reach Mars and Saturn starting April 22.North Dakota square that will likely provoke an outburst of anger, followed by discouragement on your part as Saturn continues to square Mercury. Tr Mars will not be able to square his Saturn-Venus until just before mid-May, causing another attack on his pride, which will affect his popularity. Later in May, Mars in Taurus square Pluto will bring more tensions and perhaps destructive events.
